Tyler McKinney
Lead Pastor

Tyler began at Shadycrest as a volunteer youth worker before being asked to serve as Interim Youth Pastor — all while teaching in the Pasadena Independent School District. He answered the call to Lead Pastor and has been shepherding this church family ever since. Tyler holds a Master's degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Joe Glass
Worship Pastor

Joe has been leading worship in local churches since he was 18 years old. Combining garage band roots with a classical music education, he creates worship experiences that span traditional hymns to contemporary songs. Joe is a published composer and holds a BBA from Baylor University and a Master of Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Donald Hintze
Missions & Outreach

Donald began serving Shadycrest in January 2018, following his retirement as Director of Missions for the Gulf Coast Baptist Association. With decades of mission experience, Donald leads Shadycrest's local and global outreach efforts. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University.

Bill Himmel
Discipleship & Associate Pastor

Bill brings nearly 40 years of pastoral experience, having served in independent and Baptist churches as both lead and associate pastor. His specialties include evangelism, disciple-making, recovery ministries, and restoration. He holds a BS from Philadelphia College of Bible and a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.

David
Student Minister

David has been in youth ministry since 2016, previously serving at Uvalde Baptist Church. He is a teacher at Pearland Junior High South and is currently pursuing his master's degree in youth ministry. Raised in a Christian home, David brings genuine care and energy to Shadycrest students.
